The *Binyah Foundation was established to support Daufuskie Island and the Lowcountry regions' historical/structural, wildlife and ecological preservation efforts including the Lowcountry Culture. Supporting the natural environment while promoting tourism and creating jobs.
*Binyah is a Gullah/Geechee word meaning those who have been here a longtime or natives.
