Mission Statement
The Binyah Foundationwas established to support Daufuskie Island and the Lowcountry regions' Historical/Structural, Natural, Wildlife and Ecological preservation efforts including the Gullah/Geechee Culture.
By promoting events and activities, in and around the Lowcountry regions', the Binyah Foundation will heighten the awareness, and funding opportunities, of the numerous Daufuskie Island/Lowcountry Initiatives such as preserving historical structures, keeping the Island ecologically friendly and supporting the natural environment while promoting tourism and creating jobs.
